★ Will REBELRUST LockForge™ fit my motorcycle?

REBELRUST LockForge™ fits most motorcycles with a standard throttle grip and front brake lever, including cruisers, sportbikes, adventure bikes, standards and cafe racers. The included rubber inserts let you adjust the grip cradle for thinner or thicker grips, so you get a snug, secure fit.

★ Does it work on scooters, e-bikes and bicycles?

Yes. If your ride has a handlebar grip and a brake lever next to it, REBELRUST LockForge™ can lock it. That includes scooters, mopeds, e-bikes and regular bicycles. Use the rubber inserts to fill the gap on thinner bicycle grips.

How do the rubber inserts work?

The inserts fit inside the grip cradle to reduce its size. Try them one at a time and pick the one that gives a snug fit with no wobble. A snug fit makes the lock harder to tamper with and protects your grip from scratches.

Will it fit over heated grips, bar-end weights or hand guards?

In most cases, yes. REBELRUST LockForge™ clamps around the grip itself, not the bar end. Very large aftermarket grips, wraparound hand guards or levers placed far from the grip can affect the fit. If you’re unsure, send us a photo of your handlebar and we’ll check it for you.

Can I use it on the left (clutch) side?

REBELRUST LockForge™ is designed for the right side, where it locks the throttle grip and front brake lever together. That way the bike can’t be ridden or rolled freely.

★ Will it fit my helmet?

Yes, if you can thread the cable through it. On a 3/4 helmet, go through the D-ring. On a full-face helmet, go through the face opening. On a half-shell, go through the chin strap.

★ How do I install it?

1. Unlock and open the lock, then add a rubber insert if needed.
2. Fit the grip and brake lever into their matching slots.
3. Thread the cable through your helmet and seat the cable connector in the center slot.
4. Close the lock, press the lock button, and check that the lock and cable are secure.

Most riders lock up in under 10 seconds after the first try.

Do I need tools to install it?

No. There’s no drilling, no screws and no permanent mounting. It goes on and comes off by hand.

★ Can I ride with the lock on?

No. REBELRUST LockForge™ locks your throttle and brake lever. Always unlock and remove it before starting your engine or riding off.

Can I use it without locking a helmet?

Yes. You can use it as a grip lock on its own and leave the cable unused.

Where do I store it while riding?

It’s compact enough to fit in a saddlebag, tank bag, backpack or large jacket pocket.

Will it scratch my bike or grips?

The rubber inserts and the snug fit help protect your grip. Avoid letting the metal body rub against painted parts when you install or remove it.

Can I leave it outside in the rain?

Yes. The anodized aluminum body is made for everyday outdoor use. After riding in heavy rain or on salty winter roads, wipe it dry now and then to keep the lock mechanism working smoothly.

★ How secure is it?

REBELRUST LockForge™ has an anodized aluminum alloy body and a stainless steel cable, designed to resist drilling, sawing and cutting. Just as important, it’s a highly visible deterrent: thieves look for the easy target, and a bold lock on the handlebar tells them to keep walking.

Can a thief just ride away with the lock on?

No. With the throttle and brake lever clamped together, the bike can’t be ridden normally. For maximum protection, we recommend combining REBELRUST LockForge™ with your bike’s steering lock and parking in well-lit areas.

Is it 100% theft-proof?

No lock in the world is 100% theft-proof, and anyone who claims that isn’t being honest. REBELRUST LockForge™ is built to make stealing your bike slower, harder and more visible, which is what sends most thieves looking elsewhere.

What if I lose my keys?

Keep your spare key somewhere safe and separate from your bike. If you lose all your keys, contact us with your order number and we’ll help you find the best option.

★ What does the lifetime warranty cover?

If your REBELRUST LockForge™ ever breaks or gets damaged, including damage from an attempted theft, we’ll send you a brand-new one free of charge. Just contact us with your order number and a photo of the damage. Lost keys, normal cosmetic wear and damage from modifying the lock aren’t covered.

★ How does the $1,000 Theft Compensation work?

If your motorcycle or helmet is stolen because REBELRUST LockForge™ was forced open while correctly installed and locked, you may be eligible for compensation of up to $1,000.
